IE 7 Seems to interpret
document.documentElement.clientWidth to be the width of the body, not the actual browser. Same goes for the height.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the width and height of the browser window (not the body) in IE7.
IE 7 JavaScript to Determine Browser Width and Height?windows firewall
I seem to remember reading that it currently can't be done in IE. You can get that info in Firefox.
I think the closest you can get is with document.body.clientHeight and document.body.clientWidth.
outerHeight and outerWidth are part of the W3 spec, however none of the common browsers support it.
